Situated at the foothills of the Alps, Salzburg is an enchanting little town with lots of stories to tell and places to see. Don’t forget the rich Austrian cooking, either – both hearty or sweet – and the traditional coffee specialties.
If you think that one town will not be enough for a day tour, we may as well visit the spectacular lake Koenigssee nearby, or Hitler's alpine residence, the "Eagle's Nest" in Berchtesgaden. It's all up to you!
