As we drive through Munich, we will visit key historic sites where Adolf Hitler launched his political career, founded the Nazi Party, and attempted to seize power in the failed "Beer Hall Putsch". This introduction to the history of the so-called "Third Reich" will also explore how Germany was rapidly transformed from a democratic republic into a fascist dictatorship.
The Dachau Concentration Camp Memorial is located approximately 12 miles from downtown Munich, making it easily accessible by car.

- We will drive through Munich’s city center, passing some of the most significant historic sites from the Nazi era.
- Driving past the Munich 1972 Olympic Park, we will reach Dachau in approximately 30 minutes.
- At the Concentration Camp Memorial, you will be guided through the exhibition and the historical buildings. If you wish, you can also watch the half-hour documentary film presented as part of the exhibition.
- After the guided tour at the memorial, we will return you to your hotel or another preferred location in Munich or near Dachau. Additional drop-off options include the Allianz Arena soccer stadium or the BMW World and Museum.
